Our toolkit for molecular genetic diagnostics consists of state-of-the-art equipment covering our complete workflow, which you can read more about below.
CD-PRIME
+CD-PRIME
Integrated liquid biopsy device. Based on microfluidic technology, this platform quickly and easily enriches circulating tumor cells (CTCs) from untreated blood samples based on physical characteristics, making them available for further analysis while preserving their integrity.
Qubit 4
+Qubit 4
Fluorometer. The device detects fluorescent dyes that bind specifically to the target molecule. The optimized assays can distinguish dsDNA from ssDNA, or intact RNA from degraded RNA, even in tiny amounts, or in the presence of contaminants. A specific miRNA quantification assay is also available.
NanoDrop One
+NanoDrop One
UV-Vis spectrophotometer. The latest NanoDrop instrument for the qualitative and quantitative determination of nucleic acids and proteins. The built-in Thermo Scientific Acclaro Sample Intelligence technology allows the identification of possible impurities in the sample.
TapeStation
+TapeStation
Automated electrophoresis system. An instrument for high precision quality control of DNA and RNA samples. The advantages of this system over conventional gel electrophoresis are small initial sample volume (1-2 µL), significantly faster analysis time, and automatic data analysis.
QIAcuity One 5plex
+QIAcuity One 5plex
Digital PCR instrument. A nanoplate-based system that integrates the workflow of partitioning, thermocycling, and imaging into an automated platform. Enables extremely accurate variant detection and target quantification, specifically for liquid biopsy applications.
IonTorrent S5 Prime és IonChef
+IonTorrent S5 Prime and IonChef
Next-generation sequencer and automated preparation station. NGS platform based on semiconductor technology, offering a flexible solution from small targeted gene panels to exome sequencing. The additional device allows the automation of preparation steps (e.g. library preparation), ensuring a reliable and fast workflow.
